Fact or Myth?
As we all know, when we get older our bodies start to change. This change can be anywhere from blood to muscles to brain functions etc. Many people live in a myth that when we get older, we dont gain muscle or better brain functions etc. I’m here to dispel this myth! As we mature its true we loose chemical balances and hormones change, our muscles dont heal as fast and we get slower.
Some Inspiration
The truth is, science is changing all the time the more we learn. In present day, the science shows that we can build muscle and maintain it. It also shows we get new brain functions by doing brain exercises. The reason people used to think the opposite is, as we get older, we tend to exercise less and not think as much as we used to, due to the fact life has caught up with careers, children etc.
If you maintain a good healthy diet with exercise you will maintain your muscles and build them. Maybe not as fast as they used to, but they will grow some and maintain with protein intake and foods that will help the muscles.
To help the brain, you could learn another language. Learn to play an instrument. Do logic puzzles. These type of things have been shown to re-wire the brain synapses and create new pathways in the brain. There is also many foods that can help with brain functions.

The bit of info you have read should be a little knowledge that you can expand on by googling or waiting for new articles to appear on the site. I will be writing more articles in the future about different subjects. I have included this video to help inspire people and to show that you are never too old if you take care of yourself!
