Why Should Someone Get A Fitness Trainer?
This is a great question! Some people will debate that you do not need a trainer. I disagree!
I disagree because most skills in life need to be taught. You just dont automatically learn a skill. Skills must be taught and practiced.
The more time you put into something, the more you will get out of it. Experience will gain you knowledge and strategy on how to perform something.
A few Reasons to get a trainer
Lets start from the beginning. When you crawled as a baby, you were taught to walk. It is all in baby steps everything we learn and then we further the steps as we gain more experience. Fitness training requires the same effort. If you want to succeed at something, it is important that you do it the correct way and not with bad habits. When we learn bad habits, we tend to carry these habits forever until they get corrected.
Another point is if you are just starting out fitness training as a regular thing, you want someone to show you the “ropes” so you can strive to be better and with correct form in your exercise. Correct form is one of the most important things you can do for your body and mind.
Ever wonder why there are mirrors in the gyms? One of the reasons is so you can see yourself lift. “Do I use proper form?” and “Does my back look bent?”. You get the idea. There are more reasons for the mirrors but that’s the main one for you as a weightlifter/trainee.
A trainer or coach will be able to see everything you do in detail and tweak anything that may need tweaking. Even if you have been workjing out for years I would suggest getting acoach for a few hours just to make sure you have everything in goof form and lifts and sets are being done correctly. Or you can just brainstorm on what you may want to do next and what is the best way to do that. A new diet for example or new routine to gain or loose weight!
